Part Two of Episode Eleven continues at Bronx Academy for Software Engineering or (B.A.S.E.). Their teacher-led conference featured keynote speaker, Dr. Marcos Pizarro Professor and Chair of Chicano & Chicana Studies at San Jose State University who sat down to talk about the importance of having diverse educators in the profession. This time around, we get a chance to hear from teachers who led the workshops as well as those who participated to explain why caring spaces are important to our growth in the classroom.
